7th EPATH Conference: Granada, Spain
EPATH will host its seventh conference, United in Transgender Care: Science in Action, from 30 September to 2 October 2027 in Granada, Spain, at the Palacio de Congresos de Granada.
We are also pleased to announce a pre-conference training day and a surgeon-only pre-conference day on 29 September 2027, focusing on clinical and surgical education. These pre-conference events will feature a comprehensive programme of expert presentations, practical insights, and case-based discussions aimed at advancing high-quality transgender healthcare.
The bid to host the 2027 EPATH Conference was submitted and won by Facialteam, a leading Spanish organisation specialising in facial gender-affirming surgery. Established in 2008, Facialteam has become internationally recognised for its multidisciplinary approach that integrates surgical excellence, research, education, psychological support, and personalised patient care. The organisation is committed not only to delivering high-quality clinical services but also to advancing knowledge and innovation within transgender healthcare through scientific research, professional training, and international collaboration. Having supported more than 2.100 patients from across the world, Facialteam shares EPATH’s commitment to evidence-based, person-centred, and affirming care.
Facialteam received extensive local, regional, and national support in developing and presenting the successful Spanish bid. The following organisations and services formally expressed their support: the Trans Association of Andalusia, the Federation Platform of Trans Rights, the Granada City Hall, the Granada Provincial Government, the Tourist Board of the Granada Provincial Government, the Chamber of Commerce of Granada, Granada University, Granada Convention Bureau, the Andalusian Regional Government Delegate, the Granada Territorial Delegation of Social Inclusion, Youth, Families and Equality, Anton Hipp GmbH, Ortoplus Dental Plus, and Maffinter Med.
Together with Facialteam and our local partners, EPATH looks forward to welcoming the international transgender health community to Granada for three days of scientific exchange, education, collaboration, and networking in one of Spain’s most historic and vibrant cities.

Professionals who wish to become a member of EPATH are kindly requested to consider becoming a WPATH member to receive the benefits of WPATH membership and a reduced registration fee to this event. However, we also offer EPATH-only memberships, which come with their own set of benefits. If you become a WPATH member and you reside and/or work in Europe, you automatically become an EPATH member. If you have any questions to WPATH, you can contact them at membership@wpath.org.
