Countdown to the 3rd EPATH Summer School!
The 3rd EPATH Summer School begins on Wednesday, 8 July in Ghent. We look forward to welcoming participants from across Europe and beyond for three days of intensive learning, interdisciplinary exchange, and community building in transgender health.
This year’s programme brings together clinicians, researchers, advocates, and students for a rich combination of keynote lectures, masterclasses, and mentoring sessions. Participants will engage with leading experts on topics ranging from adolescent care and mental health to social and legal contexts, sexual and reproductive health, endocrinology, and surgical pathways. The masterclasses offer small‑group, practice‑oriented learning guided by an international faculty representing 28 countries, reflecting the diversity and global reach of transgender healthcare.
In addition to the academic programme, participants will have opportunities to connect through tête‑à‑tête mentoring sessions and a public evening debate, held at the Sint‑Pieters Abbey. This event brings together researchers, community members, and practitioners to reflect on representation, lived experience, and the future of trans health in Europe.
The summer school has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 18.5 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Medical specialists may claim credits corresponding to the hours they participate in the educational activities.
We are excited to welcome the 65 summer school participants to Ghent for an inspiring and collaborative three days of learning.
