The EPATH board holds its promise to organise a free public event as part of each EPATH conference, in which keynote speakers present actual challenges in the academic, clinical and policy domains of transgender health care (read more here about the programme of the opening session). This time we will focus on data-driven transgender healthcare, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and on the backlash to trans rights.

With this open session, the EPATH board hopes to foster the dialogue between civil society, politicians and academics in the region the conference is held, and opens its doors to those not able to attend scientific conferences. The Plenary Opening is open to the public and can be followed by clicking on the following link to the Plenary Opening Session.
