6th EPATH Conference: Hamburg, Germany
EPATH will host their sixth European conference “Cutting Through the Noise: Evidence-driven Transgender Care” from September 4-6, 2025, in Hamburg, Germany.
The bid to host the 2025 EPATH Conference was won by the Institute for Sex Research, Sexual Medicine, and Forensic Psychiatry, University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf. The Institute is one of Europe’s leading interdisciplinary research institutes. they deliver comprehensive healthcare services for transgender and gender-diverse individuals, including hormone therapy, mental health care, and various surgical options. The institute aims to improve understanding and care for individuals with sexual and mental health problems, with a particular focus on marginalized and stigmatized groups. It also promotes interdisciplinary research and education in sexual health.
The Institute received a lot of local and national support in developing and presenting the bid for Germany. The following organizations and services expressed their support for the bid: Hamburg Convention Bureau, Hamburg Pride, Switch SHG Hamburg, MHC E.V., Hanse X-Men, and 4Be TransSuchtHilfe.

Professionals who wish to become a member of EPATH are kindly requested to consider becoming a WPATH member to receive the benefits of WPATH membership and a reduced registration fee to this event. However, we also offer EPATH-only memberships, which come with their own set of benefits. While we encourage becoming a WPATH/EPATH combined member for the fullest range of advantages, we recognize that EPATH-only membership can be just as rewarding.

WPATH student members are eligible to register as students. Non-WPATH students should provide documentation proving student status (e.g., a letter from a student supervisor written on the headed paper of the institution or a copy of their student card) to contact@epath.eu.
