In December 2020, the board of several professional associations for transgender health launched a joint statement regarding medical affirming treatment including puberty blockers for transgender adolescents, as a response to the Bell v. Tavistock Judgment in the UK. This statement has been further developed into an editorial in the International Journal for Transgender Health.
